Mechanical Installations Estimating Engineer

At RAP Instal, we are looking for a Mechanical Installations Estimating Engineer to join our estimating department team. If you are a proactive person with communication skills and a good understanding of mechanical installations, this position might be suitable for you.

Requirements:

- Completed higher education in the field of Installations / Construction;

- Approximately 5 years of professional experience in the field of mechanical installations;
(execution, site, technical coordination – estimating can be at an entry-level;

- Solid knowledge of mechanical installations (HVAC, sanitary, thermal – depending on the projects);

- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD);

- Good working skills in Excel;

- Understanding of the site execution process and the correlation of technical solutions with field reality;

- Technical-economic analysis capability and budget orientation;

- Organizational skills and adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Analyzes technical documentation (drawings, specifications, execution details) for mechanical installation works;

- Understands and interprets AutoCAD drawings (reading and correlating with execution, without design activity);

- Prepares estimates, bills of quantities, and cost estimations for mechanical installation works;

- Prepares technical-economic offers using Excel;

- Correlates technical solutions with the budget and beneficiary requirements;

- Identifies optimal technical solutions from a technical and economic perspective;

- Collaborates with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain price quotations;

- Verifies the correctness of quantities and proposed technical solutions;

- Provides technical support to internal teams during clarifications and occasionally during execution;

- Participates in technical clarifications with beneficiaries / general contractors;

- Monitors adherence to estimating deadlines.
