Position Description: Tendering and Settlement Engineer

Responsibilities:

Studying tender documentation (specifications, plans, annexes, technical requirements), for both private projects and public projects (SICAP/SEAP), in order to prepare the technical and financial offer;
Extracting quantity lists from technical plans, verifying them for correct estimation of the offered price, and identifying the necessary materials for preparing the offer;

Requesting price offers from suppliers for materials and price offers for services from subcontractors;

Preparing the technical and financial offer and requesting clarifications/completions in accordance with the analyzed documentation;

Participating in the preparation of execution schedules and the justification of project budgets;

Verifying and correlating project specifications with quantity lists and evaluating additional works not included in the quantity lists received from the beneficiary;

Uploading documents to SEAP for tender participation;

Preparing work statements, attachments, and settlement documents, price adjustments according to contract calculation formulas and execution schedules;

Assisting in the preparation of site orders, certifying quantities/quantity changes occurring in the project;

Constantly monitoring the project's progress against the execution schedule, its consistency with quantity lists, and initial estimated costs;

Collaborating with subcontractors, designers, and beneficiaries to resolve any issues arising during execution in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (Civil, Industrial, and Agricultural Constructions/CFDP);
• 2–3 years of experience in tendering, estimates in construction;
• AutoCAD knowledge at an intermediate level: reading and interpreting plans, measurements, simple modifications;
• Ability to read and interpret technical projects, quantity lists, and specifications;
• Experience using the SICAP/SEAP platform;
• Experience in preparing work estimates and quantity lists;
• Techno-economic analysis skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with short deadlines;
• General knowledge of civil and industrial construction technologies/CFDP;
• Solid knowledge of Intelsoft Devize and Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables).
