Technical Engineer

Requirements:

• Higher Technical Studies
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Techincal drawing knowledge
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel
• Understanding of a production flow
• Organized, disciplined, attention to detail and distribution
• Oriented towards clients and results.  
• Advantage: Knowledge of German or English language.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a technical department operating in the automotive industry or equivalent

Duties and responsibilities:

• Participate actively in continuous process improvement activities within the area of responsibility
• Maintain the 6S program within the area of responsibility
• Ensure timely closure of actions resulting from customer complaints, optimizations, etc., from the department
• Know and respect procedures in the area of responsibility, identify non-conformities towards departments able to handle them and ensure together with these that deficiencies are remedied
• Participate in implementing and maintaining the IATF 16949 standard, customer norms, and specific client requirements (CSR)
• Organize timely changes relevant to production level within the area of responsibility, ensuring project deadlines are met
• Collaborate with colleagues from the department to ensure all technical modifications are documented in documentation
• Coordinate with relevant departments to optimize production documentation and provide instructions for using production documentation to train personnel
• Provide details of technical modifications to all involved departments
• Maintain a close relationship with the change manager to provide necessary information on the feasibility of a technical modification and implementation timelines
• Participate actively in daily meetings for technical modifications, ensure actions resulting from the modification process are implemented, and report any deviations immediately to superiors
• Ensure correct implementation of all technical modifications so that their impact on production is as planned
• Ensure that all details of technical modifications are reflected in production documentation
• Coordinate with system engineers to ensure activities are planned so that their impact on production is as planned
