Job Description: Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a colleague to fill the role of Maintenance Engineer within one of the RAP Group companies (food sector - located in Ghimbav).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in technical studies (preferably in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or industrial engineering)
• Relevant experience (minimum 5 years) in coordinating industrial maintenance activities, preferably in automated production environments
• Prior experience in coordinating and motivating multidisciplinary teams (mechanics, electromechanics, technicians)
• Solid knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methods and practices
• Practical experience in using and implementing predictive maintenance technologies
• Moderate to advanced level English language skills (for technical documentation and collaboration with international suppliers)

Duties:

• Plans, leads, and controls human, technical, and material resources related to production line maintenance
• Organizes and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment functioning
• Integrates the latest industry technologies and developments into maintenance processes
• Implements predictive maintenance solutions for anticipating and preventing defects
• Uses AI tools for monitoring equipment and forecasting intervention needs
• Ensures production of finished products at planned quantities and within agreed-upon timelines
• Guarantees compliance with quality standards and safety norms in all maintenance activities
• Optimizes maintenance costs and directly contributes to the company's profitability objectives
