Engineer

A connection request is not just about documents. It means analysis, technical decisions, and the responsibility to define the correct solution.

At MEGACONSTRUCT S.A., we are looking for an Engineer to be involved in this process, from analyzing documentation to establishing the technical solution and issuing the ATR (Technical Connection Approval).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes connection requests and submitted documentation from applicants, from a technical perspective and regarding compliance with applicable requirements.
• Establishes technical connection solutions, respecting applicable legislation, regulations, and technical requirements.
• Prepares documentation and responses related to connection requests, including the necessary documents for issuing the Technical Connection Approval (ATR).
• Tracks the stages and deadlines related to connection requests.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance indicators applicable to the connection process, according to the Performance Standard for the natural gas distribution service.
• Collaborates with involved departments to resolve requests and clarify technical aspects.
• Tracks legislative and regulatory changes relevant to the activity performed.

Ideal Candidate

• Completed higher technical education, preferably in the field of engineering, energetics, installations, or related fields.
• Ability to understand and apply technical requirements specific to the activity.
• Attention to detail, rigor, and good organization.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office usage, especially Excel, with advanced experience in its usage being an advantage;
• Ability to understand and apply specific technical requirements, legislation, and regulations.
• Orientation towards identifying and solving technical problems.
• Experience in the natural gas field, in connection activities, or in a similar technical position is an advantage.
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations specific to the natural gas sector is an advantage.
• Category B driving license.
