Mechanical Installations Engineer – Bucharest Construction Site

We are looking for a Mechanical Installations Engineer for the execution team, who will coordinate and monitor the mechanical installation works carried out within the projects in Bucharest.

Location: Bucharest – site activity
Schedule: Full-time

• Monitors the execution of mechanical installation works according to the technical project, the execution schedule, and contractual requirements;
• Coordinates the activity of own teams and subcontractors for the works under their responsibility;
• Verifies the quality and conformity of the executed works on site;
• Monitors works related to HVAC, sanitary, thermal, and fire suppression installations, depending on the project specifics;
• Analyzes technical documentation and signals any discrepancies or situations requiring clarification;
• Monitors the need for materials and equipment and transmits requests to the involved departments;
• Verifies the delivery and implementation of materials and equipment according to technical specifications;
• Participates in measurements, verification of quantities executed, and preparation of work statements;
• Prepares and manages the technical documentation related to the executed works;
• Participates in inspections, trials, tests, and acceptances;
• Monitors the respect of execution deadlines and informs project management about potential delays;
• Collaborates with the Site Manager, Project Manager, designers, and other specialties involved in the project;
• Monitors the remediation of non-conformities identified during execution;
• Respects and monitors the application of quality and H&S requirements related to the coordinated activities.

• Completed higher technical studies – Building Installations, Mechanical Engineering, or similar profile;
• Experience in mechanical installation execution is an advantage;
• Knowledge of HVAC, sanitary, and/or thermal installations;
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documentation;
• MS Office knowledge; AutoCAD is an advantage;
• Category B driving license is an advantage;
• Good organizational and coordination skills;
• Attention to detail and orientation towards meeting deadlines;
• Availability for predominantly site-based activity.

The role is operational, with site presence and direct involvement in monitoring and coordinating the execution of mechanical installation works.
