Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) / Electrical / Sanitary Engineer

Purpose of the Post

Ensures the preparation of technical-economic offers for installation works, preparing bills and work situations, as well as providing technical support necessary for procurement and execution, so that projects unfold in accordance with quality standards, budget, and term.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyzes tender requests and technical documents (including instruction books), establishes priorities, and processes necessary data for bidding.

• Verifies quantity lists and designed parts; signals and corrects any discrepancies.

• Evaluates the construction site status before work begins: water sources, electricity, heat agent, existing installation state, and space.

• Requests and analyzes supplier quotes; negotiates technical-economic conditions and identifies optimal solutions.

• Prepares installation offers (HVAC, electrical, sanitary, fire extinguishing) based on received documents and project specifications.

• Elaborates preliminary estimates, category-wise work bills, and executed work situations.

• Prepares material centralization lists and transmits them to the procurement officer, accompanied by complete technical specifications.

• Collaborates with the estimator for elaborating consumption norms and constantly updating price databases.

• Monitors orders and deliveries of equipment and materials.

• Identifies new suppliers and subcontractors for installation works and requests quotes.

• Prepares work lists for subcontractors, negotiates terms and contractual conditions.

• Verifies, tests, and quantifies subcontractor work; prepares real work situations and corresponding accounts.

• Offers technical support to execution teams for interpreting plans, planning activities, and resource management.

• Monitors constant site groups and communication.

• Travels to the construction site for technical verifications, clarifications, and data collection relevant to the project.

• Transmits daily phone reports (short, status-type) regarding work progress.

• Presents a plan of action for the next day and transmits a weekly progress report (including photos and text) regarding the current situation and remaining steps.

Requirements and Experience

• Higher technical studies in the field of Installations for Construction or equivalent.

• Relevant experience in preparing offers, bills, and work situations for installations (HVAC, sanitary, electrical).

• Solid knowledge of norms, standards, and specific consumption for installation works.

• Previous experience in retail, office, fit-out, or commercial center projects – constitutes an advantage.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; experience with billing applications is a plus.

• Ability to analyze technical-economic project data and write documentation for bidding.

• Driving license category B – constitutes an advantage.

• Availability for internal and occasional external travel.
