DevOps Engineer

Scope of the Position:

Identifying, investigating, and resolving problems and incidents as quickly as possible to minimize impact on end-users.

Collaborating with the team to understand requirements and offering optimized software solutions.

Maintaining and improving application performance.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Designs, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines for automating testing and deployment using Kubernetes.
• Manages Kubernetes clusters and automates container orchestration with Helm diagrams to simplify deployment processes.
• Collaborates with development teams to integrate operational standards into software development and deployment.
• Maintains and optimizes Kubernetes cluster performance, ensuring scalability and system reliability.
• Implements and maintains security practices in all containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develops scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and system manageability.
• Provides leadership and technical guidance to junior DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of learning and innovation.
• Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, containerization, and cloud computing, continuously improving our infrastructure.

Candidates Must Have:

• Education: Technical university degrees (e.g., Automatic Control Systems, System Engineering, etc.)
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes – 5 years
• Expertise in managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters and using tools like Helm for package management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, especially in Kubernetes settings.
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration: installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in managing/configuring services and applications such as Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Keycloak, Redis, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Able to resolve problems with a history of managing high-availability systems.
