System Engineer
Job description
Responsibilities:
· analyze events resulting from network/firewall/domain-controller/linux servers/web servers/dns server equipment
· initiate tickets based on these events and intervene for diagnosing and resolving reported situations
· permanent monitoring of IT systems and platforms in the portfolio
- install and configure servers and network equipment at the client's location
Minimum requirements: studies :
Studies: higher education in a technical field
Minimum requirements experience, knowledge, and skills:
- Solid knowledge of installation, configuration, and operation in Windows and Linux server environments
- Solid knowledge of hardware: servers and storage/NAS devices
- General knowledge of network services (Active Directory, DNS, SMB, WWW, DHCP, NTP, etc)
- General knowledge of virtualization solutions HyperV/VMWare
- General knowledge of operating system security Microsoft
- General knowledge of backup software (WindowsBackup/VeeamBackup)
- General knowledge of monitoring systems (Nagios/Zabbix)
- General knowledge of networking (routing/switching)
