Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Performs site visits in accordance with the Work Program to oversee construction works;
- Participates in tests conducted within the site and takes samples for laboratory personnel;
- Communicates and maintains contact with laboratory personnel for tests and trials;
- Informs the Quality Manager about works within the site;
- Participates in FAT (factory acceptance testing) at manufacturers/providers;
- Ensures that all quality documents received from manufacturers/providers are valid and comply with technical norms;
- During execution, verifies works executed to establish whether they comply with contractual requirements, the Quality Assurance Plan for the Project, and technical execution procedures;
- Along with the Technical Execution Responsible, participates in verifying works executed to establish conformity with the Technical Project and Task Sheets;
- Analyzes the integrity, legality, and conformity of documents received from manufacturers or site;
- Ensures that laboratory test results comply with frequency and specifications in Task Sheets;
- Collects documentation attesting to the quality of works and prepares Quality Control Reports/Hidden Works Reports, manages the signing of these by responsible personnel from the site (RTE and Site Manager) and the Beneficiary through its representative, the Site Manager;
- Keeps a record of quality documents in the Register of Evidence for works and archives accepted/signed reports from the Site Manager;
- Compiles and manages the archive of quality records in accordance with the established system in the Quality Assurance Plan for the Project;
- Prepares documentation for Determining Phases and participates with RTE in receiving works that are the subject of Determining Phases;
- Communicates with the Site Manager and RTE and organizes verifications for parts of the work that have been completed for the purpose of receiving;
- Identifies and communicates any non-conformities to the Quality Manager and Technical Execution Responsible;
- Responds for certifying works through preparing Quality Control Reports;
- Follows the use of materials, prefabricated materials, etc. approved and certified by the Consultant;
- Participates in receiving materials, prefabricated materials in the factory with the Consultant;
- Receives materials arrived at the site's storage, before they are put into operation, along with designated personnel from the Consultant and/or the Beneficiary;
- Participates in receiving works executed with the Consultant;
- Compiles and manages the archive of quality records in accordance with the established system in the Quality Management Manual of the site;
- Prepares the Technical Construction Book that will be transmitted later to the Central Archive of the company and the Beneficiary (if this is required by the contract);
Requirements:
- Construction engineer for railways, roads, and bridges;
- Total previous experience: minimum 3 years
