Commissioning Engineer – Testing and Putting into Operation
- Bachelor's degree in technical studies (electrical engineering, energy, automation, mechanics)
- Relevant experience in testing and putting into operation for integrated mechanical systems, thermal systems, air conditioning, electrical systems, physical security, and PSI, Diesel Generators, UPS, battery backup
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical and mechanical installations
- Experience in coordinating technical teams (service/commissioning)
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients
- Availability for travel
- Techincal English language knowledge – level technical
Responsibility for planning, coordinating, and validating the commissioning of technical systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS, UPS, HVAC etc.), ensuring that they function in accordance with the project, standards, and client requirements.
- Planning, preparation, and implementation of functional and pre-operational tests, as well as putting into operation of integrated systems within the Tema Energy projects
- Coordination of resources from the service department (generator specialists, UPS specialists, HVAC specialists for data centers), but also external resources involved in the project (subcontractors, manufacturers)
- Coordination of teams: electrical (MT/JT, UPS, generators), HVAC (chillers, CRAH, CDU etc.), BMS / SCADA / D&M, Supervision of functional and integrated tests, validation of interfaces between systems (e.g. UPS ↔ ATS ↔ Generator ↔ BMS)
- Advanced technical support during testing and complex interventions
- Verification of compliance with the technical project, client requirements, and standards governing execution
- Coordination and, if necessary, drafting of test reports, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation necessary for training and receiving work, in collaboration with the Design and Service departments
- Participation in specialized training at manufacturers' facilities
- Main technical interface with the client during commissioning, presenting tests and testing procedures
- Responsible for final acceptance and handover to the client.

IMPORTANT: Tema Energy projects are located in Bucharest and the country. This role involves travel to the country for construction sites where data center facilities are being set up; travel is done with return on Friday evenings in Bucharest, no work is done on weekends except in rare situations, overtime hours outside of regular working hours and additional hours are paid); project durations vary from 3 months to a year, during which periodic travel is necessary
