Ingenier Chimist Electroplating on Plastic Process

Job Description:

We are expanding our team and looking for a Chemist Engineer with knowledge in chemical surface treatment processes, especially electroplating on plastic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and controlling the technological process parameters, in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of the electroplating on plastic process;
• Monitoring chemical parameters of galvanic baths and maintaining them within technological limits;
• Supervision of the team in the preparation and correction of chemical solutions;
• Implementation and tracking of maintenance plans for equipment;
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards at work;
• Collaboration with quality and production departments to resolve non-conformities;
• Publishing technical documentation and specific reports on activity;
• Surveillance of critical process stages;
• Ensuring the quality of metal coating – adhesion, thickness, uniformity, appearance;
• Coordination of laboratory analyses for verifying chemical solution concentrations and galvanizing quality;
• Identifying and implementing solutions to prevent defect occurrence;
• Instructing operators on correct equipment use and process parameter respect.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry
• Knowledge of electrochemistry, galvanotechnology, surface treatments;
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and orientation towards solutions;
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and chemical analysis tools;
• Knowledge of environmental and labor protection standards (advantage).
• Availability to work in shifts
