Technical Office Engineer – Design & Quoting

TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEER — DESIGN & QUOTING

We are looking for a professional who can take a project from request → technical solution → cost calculation → quote → execution → post-calculation.

A technical role with direct impact on project quality, quoting process efficiency, and job profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Electrical Design

• Development and verification of technical documentation;
• Design of civil and industrial electrical installations;
• Creation of electrical plans and diagrams in AutoCAD and preparation of single-line diagrams;
• Sizing of installations, cables, protections, and equipment;
• Selection of technically and economically optimal solutions;
• Preparation of documentation for execution and collaboration with execution teams for technical clarifications;
• Participation in projects for photovoltaic systems, storage systems, EV charging stations, electrical panels, automation, and other electrical installations.

2. Quoting and Preliminary Calculation

Transform technical documentation into a correctly calculated commercial offer:

• Analysis of received requests and documentation and identification of the technical solution;
• Determination of material requirements and preparation of quantity lists;
• Calculation of labor requirements;
• Requesting and comparing supplier quotes;
• Preparation of estimates and preliminary calculations and estimation of the work's cost;
• Application of internal pricing policy and approved margins;
• Identification of technical and commercial risks;
• Preparation of offers for clients;
• Collaboration with the Administrator for important or high-risk offers.

3. Post-Calculation and Profitability Control

• Comparison of preliminary calculation with actual costs and analysis of differences between estimated and achieved;
• Identification of works performed below the estimated margin and causes of cost overruns;
• Analysis of material and labor consumption;
• Updating internal price databases;
• Providing information and recommendations for improving future offers.

4. Connections and Technical Documentation — an advantage

Experience in these areas is a significant advantage:

• Connections to electrical grids and documentation for distribution operators, including DEER;
• Connection approval (ATR) and user installations;
• Technical documentation for connection;
• Low Voltage (JT)/Medium Voltage (MT) installations.

5. Tenders and SEAP — an advantage

• Analysis of award documentation and identification of technical requirements;
• Preparation of technical documentation for tendering, including quantity lists and estimates;
• Participation in SEAP procedures;
• Identification of technical and commercial risks of contracts.

REQUIREMENTS — MANDATORY

• Higher technical education, preferably in the electrical/electrotechnical field;
• Relevant experience in design, quoting, or electrical installations;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawing;
• Ability to size electrical installations;
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, including I7;
• Ability to interpret technical documentation;
• Good calculation and analysis skills;
• Very good attention to detail;
• Ability to work with quantities, costs, estimates, and margins;
• Good organizational skills and adherence to deadlines;
• Communication and teamwork skills;
• Category B driving license.

⭐ Major differentiator — ANRE Authorization (grade IIIA/IIIB)

Holding an ANRE authorization (grade IIIA/IIIB) is a major advantage.

Candidates who are preparing for authorization and wish to develop their technical skills and grow professionally within the company are also welcome.

Experience in design, connections, electrical installations, and knowledge of applicable procedures and regulations also constitute a significant advantage.
