Automatist Engineer RAP Confectionery (Ghimbav)

We are looking for an Automatist Engineer to join our team in Ghimbav. If you like working directly with equipment, resolving technical issues and making processes more reliable, this position is for you.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensuring the correct functioning of production automation systems.

- Diagnosing and repairing defects at PLCs, SCADA, and industrial equipment to reduce downtime.

- Implementing optimizations and improvements to existing automation systems and processes.

- Integrating new equipment (sensors, cameras, testing equipment) into production lines.

- Collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.

- Updating technical documentation and transferring know-how within the team.

- Respecting safety standards, internal procedures, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

- Higher education in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.

- Practical experience with Siemens PLCs (Step7, TIA Portal), AllenBradley/Keyence.

- Previous experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and optimizing processes in an industrial environment.

- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and sensor/camera integration.

- Analytical spirit, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

- Communication and teamwork skills.

- Knowledge of English or German is an advantage.
