Agronom Engineer – Experience in Large-Scale Cultivation

General Description

We are looking for an Agronom Engineer with solid experience in large-scale cultivation to coordinate and optimize agricultural activity on a modern farm of 850 hectares (wheat, alfalfa, corn).

The role requires direct responsibility for the entire vegetable production process, technical team, and administrative aspects.

Main Requirements

• Degree in Agronom Engineer (obligatory).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as farm manager or section head in large-scale cultivation (minimum 500 ha).
• Digital Competences: advanced use of Excel and Word, introduction of data into Google Earth with kmz/kml files.
• Fundamental Knowledge of Agricultural Machinery – tractors, combines, and equipment.
• Practical experience in operating tractors and combines is an advantage.
• Clean Judicial Record (obligatory condition).
• Availability for polygraph test if requested.
• Medium-Level English Knowledge – spoken and written.
• Category B Driving Permit.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordination of Agricultural Operations on a 850 ha area.
• Management of a small team of tractor operators – organization, monitoring, and training.
• Supervision and maintenance of the agricultural machinery/ mechanical equipment park.
• Administration of the mechanical workshop for repairs and maintenance.
• Management of files and documentation for agricultural activities.
• Relationships with neighboring farmers, landowners, neighbors, and citizens in the commune – maintaining good relationships and defending the interests of society.
• Respect for Labor Protection Legislationand Medium-Level Standards(including manipulation and application of liquid and solid fertilizers).
