Engineer (TGA) as Auditor (m/w/d) for Technical Audits at the Audit Office

Make Cologne – a lifelong experience! At the Audit Office, there is a position to be filled as Auditor (m/w/d) in the Department of Technical Audits. The Audit Office acts as local audit function on behalf of the Council and its committees. This includes an independent, expert, and constructive evaluation of planned and already completed events. In the technical department, this involves all types of urban construction projects, including infrastructure, buildings, and facilities, as well as environmental and energy-related projects. The Auditor is responsible for conducting audits to ensure that these projects are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. This includes reviewing project plans, monitoring progress, and evaluating the results. The Auditor must also identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions. The Audit Office is looking for a highly qualified and experienced engineer who can work independently and as part of a team to achieve these goals.
