Composite Stress Engineer

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
The Stress Specialist will be responsible for performing stress analyses on composite primary structures to validate and certify 3D design models. They will collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Participate in the definition of structural concepts;
- Analyze composite primary structures;
- Contribute to the definition of certification tests;
- Participate in the writing and validation of certification reports;
- Contribute to the development and improvement of calculation methodologies;
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines related to material and structural limitations;
- Review reports prepared by other team members;
- Support the project manager in workload planning;
- Assist in drafting quality procedures;
- Participate in and support weight engineering projects;
- Assist in preparing weight reports;
- Act as a reference point for stress-related matters in weight engineering projects;
- Understand AS9100 standard requirements related to this role;
- Comply with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and apply its tools in daily tasks;
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in composite structural analysis;
- Experience in the aerospace industry;
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience);
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 design and modeling software;
- Knowledge of ENOVIA software;
- Experience with NASTRAN, PATRAN, FEMAP, and HYPERMESH software;
- Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is an asset.
