Network and Server Room Engineer - Permanent Contract

The Purpose of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine, and undertake to design digital models, technologies, and solutions for the benefit of a society and economy that are respectful of people and their environment.

We are looking for our future Network and Server Room Engineer to join the Systems, Networks, and Infrastructure unit of the IT Department.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows :

• Ensure the proper functioning and evolution of the networks managed by the school.

• Contribute to user support for network-related issues.

• Participate in collaboration with the Real Estate and Logistics department in the operation and deployment of connected technical infrastructures in the building.

• Manage server rooms and network technical facilities.

We are looking for a network engineer proficient in advanced network protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF) and with solid experience in configuring Level 2 and 3 equipment. Expertise in copper and optical cabling, as well as in the analysis and deployment of Wi-Fi solutions (measurements, coverage study), is essential for this position.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team with rigor, method, and autonomy.

Salary indications :

Indicative salary range (excluding variable annual bonus): 42,000 to 58,000 euros gross per year, depending on profile and experience, as defined by our legal framework. Note: our social contributions are lower than in the private sector.
