Your responsibilities
- To manage projects for developing new products and/or improving existing ones.
- To participate in defining customer needs and optimal solutions.
- To design mechanical parts and components, and validate physical characteristics of functioning.
- To integrate different technologies such as semi-active hydraulic suspensions; electronic steering systems.
- To optimize based on costs, weight, and manufacturability.
Desired profile
- To hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- To be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- To master CAD software and SolidWorks
- To have knowledge of industrial equipment, heavy trucks, mining equipment, or any other type of industrial equipment, will be considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- To demonstrate autonomy and professional curiosity
- To have a very good team spirit and collaboration
- To be able to work under pressure
- To have the ability to resolve problems and research their fundamental causes
- Bilingualism in French-English *
- To be able to travel outside the country occasionally and be available to attend various industry events
* The bilingualism requirement is necessary, as the employee will need to translate documentation and communicate with monolingual English-speaking clients.
