Mechanical Habillage Engineer

In this key role in product development, you will ensure the integration of group habillage systems, approve new components, and comply with requirements (functionality, costs, standards, etc.), while validating that new concepts assemble and are manufacturable.

• Define the system specifications under your responsibility;

• Participate in defining the system logic with the control team;

• Establish a plan for functional validations and tests in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team;

• Plan and track the progress of activities related to development projects assigned to you;

• Determine potential concepts in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team;

• Develop a partnership with suppliers in developing solutions;

• Support the testing and prototyping team during validation and certification periods, and support production placement.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production automation, electromechanical or any other engineering field with relevant experience in developing complex systems;

• OIQ member;

• Five years of experience in system integration and project management, preferably in the transportation or heavy vehicle industry;

• Solid experience in prototyping, validation, and industrialization of mechanical systems;

• Experience in modeling systems (asset);

• Bilingualism (English/French) to discuss written and orally with clients and suppliers who may be located outside Canada.
