The role

As a structural engineer, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of various structural projects, while leading a technical team:

• Preliminary studies: contribute to the development of concepts and technical solutions.
• Design: develop innovative and optimal structural solutions.
• Analysis: perform detailed calculations and validate the conformity of elements with respect to different standards.
• Project management: supervise the technical team and ensure the follow-up of projects.

Main responsibilities

• Carry out surveys and site visits;
• Design and analyze structures in wood, steel and reinforced concrete.
• Conduct feasibility studies and produce technical opinions.
• Validate concepts and technical drawings.
• Supervise the technical team in the production of plans and specifications.
• Carry out partial monitoring of works and provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Ensure coordination with clients and other professionals.

Desired profile

We are looking for a proactive, organized and passionate person about structural design with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (ing.)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural calculation
• Excellent mastery of structural analysis software
• Impeccable French (oral and written)
• Leadership and excellent teamwork skills

Job type

• Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
