You will join Sopra Steria within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions assigned to you, you will evolve within internal Sopra Steria teams for outsourcing services or be directly integrated into client teams. You will be supported by a dynamic team that will involve you actively in the entire project.

Throughout your journey in the Group, you will be supported by your unique manager, who will be present and in close proximity to your mission and will assist you in your career development.

Your role and your missions:

As a DBA / Database Engineer, you will bring your expertise to the following missions:

• You will carry out the study and implementation of SGBD evolution projects;
• You will provide technical support for new projects;
• You will handle complex incidents (level 3);
• You will write and maintain technical documentation;
• You will be responsible for managing obsolescence within the SGBD scope;
• You will analyze and process Information System requests (advice, expertise, best practice recommendations);
• You will support and advise development teams on deployments and best practices related to databases.

Graduated with a Bac+5 (Master's degree or equivalent) from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 7 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Your English level is operational.

You have experience in multi-SGBD database administration (Oracle and SQL Server; MySQL and PostgreSQL being a plus).

You possess solid skills in multi-platform automation (PowerShell and Linux scripting), as well as good knowledge of Elasticsearch.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic.

You also have good service orientation and client relationship skills.
