Job description
Within the R&D Directorate of Safran Helicopter Engines in Bordes, we are looking for our future Special Processes Engineer/Auditor specializing in Non-Destructive Testing. In a team of 6 people whose activity is dedicated to Non-Destructive Evaluation (and its upstream and downstream implications) within a Materials and Processes Department, you will be responsible for Non-Destructive Evaluation Engineering activities within Safran Helicopter Engines and more broadly within the Safran group. To achieve this, you will need to lead and/or participate in the following activities, primarily dedicated to metallic parts: - Technical interaction with NDT suppliers/service providers, including qualification, monitoring, validation, and technical support actions through audits on industrial sites in France and abroad, in particular. - Technical support and development in NDT methods applied to Safran Helicopter Engines articles, in Manufacturing and Repair, on analog methods (Visual, Penetrant Testing, etc.) and digital methods (X-ray, etc.) according to the evolution of the scope covered by the group. - Drafting and maintaining in operational condition of technical definition documents (implementation of methods, control performances/criteria, etc.).
