Business Application and SI Integration Engineer - Permanent Contract

A leading generalist engineering school from IMT-Institut Mines-Télécom, the foremost group of engineering schools in France, IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and leverage scientific and technical excellence for teaching, research, and innovation.

As part of a sustainable strengthening of its technical execution capabilities, we are recruiting an IT developer within the Infrastructure and Information Systems Directorate (DISI), and more specifically within the Business Applications (AM) unit.

Under the responsibility of the unit manager, you will primarily focus on high-stakes subjects for the institution: application evolutions, module or tool development, inter-application flows, corrective and evolutionary maintenance, technical security, documentation, and setting up backups for strategic areas. You will develop and evolve business applications, ensure the reliability and industrialization of interfaces and flows (ETL, API), guarantee service continuity, contribute to the quality and security of deliverables (best practices, technical debt management), and provide first-level technical support to the team.

✔️ You have skills in application development, maintenance of existing solutions, as well as managing inter-application exchanges (API, web services, files, connectors, batch processing) and data integration tools (ETL Talend/Talaxie). You are proficient in several programming languages (Java, PHP, SQL), the Laravel framework, as well as version control tools (Gitlab) and CI/CD principles.

✔️ You have experience in taking over existing technical systems, designing interfaces, and developing within complex heterogeneous or multi-application environments.

✔️ You demonstrate rigor and methodology, as well as strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and proven autonomy in execution. You have a team spirit, a service-oriented attitude, and enjoy documenting and making your deliverables transferable while remaining responsive to incidents.

🎓 The desired profile should hold a qualification of at least a Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) with 6 years of IT experience, particularly in application and interface development in a professional environment, ideally within a complex, multi-application, or institutional IS context. Entry-level Master's graduates (Bac +5) are accepted; their first experience or internship must be significant in relation to the expected skills.

REMUNERATION INDICATIONS:

💰 Indicative remuneration: from €39,000 gross annual salary, depending on profile and experience (reduced employee contributions in the public sector).
