Engineer / Technician (m/w/d) Supply Technology & Ship Systems

Tasks

In complex shipbuilding projects, central operating systems for supply, security, and functionality are developed and integrated. The position is responsible for the technical conception, design, and coordination of supply systems and accompanies their implementation in the project environment.

• Development of technical concepts for supply systems such as heating, fresh water, sewage, bilge, ballast, and compressed air systems, as well as fire extinguishing systems
• Preparation of specifications to support approval and procurement processes
• Design and calculation of ship operating systems taking into account technical requirements and classification regulations
• Preparation and maintenance of schematic piping plans in collaboration with product design
• Professional coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal specialist departments, as well as evaluation of technical offers and preparation of decision-making documents

Qualification

• Completed studies in the technical or natural sciences or a further education to a technician (m/w/d)
• First or multi-year experience in the field of supply technology, preferably in shipbuilding or system integration
• Experience in working with CAD software for creating technical diagrams and safe use of MS Office
• Very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking for technical coordination in the project environment
• Structured, self-reliant working style and developed communication and team skills in interdisciplinary projects
