Endpoint / Workstation Security Engineer

As part of the endpoint security redesign, our client, a large enterprise environment, wishes to replace Microsoft Defender for Endpoint with Cortex XDR from Palo Alto Networks.

U.NEAT is a company specialized in cybersecurity and offers expert services through its divisions:

• Cyber Defense Center: managed SOC service and CSIRT

• Expertise: SecOps / DevSecOps technical assistance

• Consulting: SSI / GRC consulting activities

Your missions

• Support the migration from Defender to Cortex on workstations

• Deploy and configure Cortex XDR: agents, security profiles, policies, exclusions

• Secure the transition phase: management of business application exclusions, non-regression testing, exception management

• Industrialize deployment via fleet management tools

• Document and transfer: procedures, knowledge transfer to internal teams

• Coordinate with internal teams (workstation, security, SOC, business applications)

Your skills

• Windows administration, deployment tools

• Antivirus/EDR expertise: security policy, exclusions, tuning, false positive management

• Knowledge of Defender and Cortex solutions

• Minimum experience in integrating a new EDR

• Ability to intervene within complex and multi-site environments
