Research and Development Engineer H/F (CDI)

Created in March 2019, KARPOS is a recruitment agency based in LYON. Our team regularly develops and intervenes for CDI or CDD needs on expert and management functions. The areas of intervention are primarily the industry, biotechnologies, and services, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the rest of FRANCE. KARPOS RH recruits for its client, a family-owned SME. To support its growth, we are recruiting a Research and Development Engineer who will work on the development of new textile products and processes, as well as the optimization of existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile science or engineering, with experience in R&D projects, particularly in the field of textiles. He/She will be responsible for conducting research, designing and developing new products, and optimizing existing ones. The engineer will also be expected to collaborate with the design team to develop innovative textile solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of textile materials, processes, and technologies, as well as experience in working with various stakeholders, including designers, manufacturers, and customers. He/She should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
