Job description
Within our Purchasing department, you will be the quality reference for our entire supplier panel.
Your role is to ensure that our suppliers can sustainably meet our requirements in terms of quality, compliance, and process control, regardless of the nature or purpose of the products and components supplied.
From qualifying a new supplier to monitoring its long-term performance, you will be involved throughout the entire supplier relationship lifecycle and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of our supplies.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of suppliers, on products and components with different characteristics and purposes, subject to strict regulatory constraints for certain components, and to directly contribute to improving industrial performance and customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities
Qualify and evaluate new suppliers: audits, analysis of industrial capabilities and quality systems, validation of supplier files;
Organize and monitor FAI (First Article Inspection) and the validation of parts and components;
Drive supplier quality performance through indicators, audits, non-conformities, and lessons learned;
Identify and manage corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and monitor their effectiveness;
Support suppliers in improving their processes and quality systems;
Monitor derogations and ensure the compliance and traceability of supplier quality documents;
Participate in technical reviews and the definition of quality requirements with internal teams and suppliers;
Report on supplier quality performance and propose necessary improvement actions.
With higher education in Quality, Engineering, or a technical field, you have significant prior experience of at least 10 years in supplier quality within an industrial environment.
You have a strong command of the principles of quality auditing, non-conformity analysis, and corrective action management.
You are comfortable with data analysis and problem-solving, and you know how to work with diverse stakeholders, both internally and with suppliers.
Your ability to analyze, challenge, and support suppliers allows you to build effective working relationships while maintaining a high level of demand.
Autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic, you appreciate environments where quality is built as close to the ground as possible.
Occasional travel to our suppliers is expected.
