HYDRO Exploitation SA is a key service provider, particularly active in the operation and maintenance of energy generation facilities. We combine all the necessary competencies under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a plant park with more than 40 hydroelectric power plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydroelectric power capacity in Switzerland (25% with pump stations). Together, the plants operated by us generate about 16% of the electricity from hydropower in Switzerland.

Civil Engineer·e

Workplace: Hybrid (Sion and assignments in Upper Valais)

Your Mission:

You will be responsible for carrying out studies and projects in the field of civil engineering for the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric power plants, including sites in Upper Valais.

Your Tasks:

• Development and implementation of maintenance and renovation projects for hydroelectric power plants
• Participation in all project phases, from feasibility study to completion and commissioning
• Participation in various engineering projects with multidisciplinary skills
• Ensuring technical support for the various production sites
• Preparation of technical and financial proposals for our clients

Your Competencies:

• ETH or FH Civil Engineer
• Professional experience in the field of construction or plant maintenance
• Knowledge of underground structures or hydraulics is an advantage
• Experience in project management
• Holistic thinking, organizational talent, and foresight
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
