Tasks:

• Development of safety-critical, technologically demanding hardware for aerospace — from the concept phase to certification and series launch - Independent processing of offers as well as participation in concept development, circuit design, calculation, and simulation in a team - Integration, commissioning, and verification of printed circuits and devices - Participation in agile, interdisciplinary teams with development, suppliers, procurement, and manufacturing to bring prototypes into series maturity - Building and maintenance of broad product knowledge for the use of synergies and efficient further development of existing solutions - Analysis of customer requirements and derivation of suitable hardware architectures - Preparation of aerospace-specific technical documentation - Support in environmental and device qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent qualification - At least 5 years of electronics development, with at least 3 years of hardware design in the aerospace industry (ideally safety-critical) - Very good practice with Cadence Allegro and experience with aerospace-relevant standards (e.g. DO-254, DO-160) - Experience in Requirements Engineering as well as verification and validation - Good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology including common interfaces (A429, UART, CAN, SPI, I²C, Parallelbus) - Ability to evaluate and optimize regarding EMV, Signal Integrity, and Performance - Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes as well as safe handling with modern development tools and agile methods - Fluent German and English skills
