Mission Context

As part of the manufacturing of boilermaking equipment for the nuclear sector, we are looking for a Methods Engineer specialized in boilermaking.

The mission specifically concerns writing procedures and defining manufacturing methods for metallic, welded boilermaking equipment with reinforcements. The position also provides support for tenders, costing, design, and manufacturing follow-up.

Missions

• Study tenders and contribute to costing.

• Analyze the contractual specifications of projects and the technical feasibility of projects.

• Identify the most suitable and optimized manufacturing methods and define their costs.

• Write the manufacturing procedures for boilermaking equipment.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of work.

• Verify the feasibility and applicability of the design and manufacturing routes.

• Develop plans, manufacturing routes, and technical purchasing specifications.

• Supervise scheduling in accordance with quality control plans.

• Provide support for design work.

• Ensure continuous improvement of methods and processes.

• Estimate provisional manufacturing and welding times.

• Imagine and implement technical and economic solutions.

• Develop performance indicators.

• Prepare periodic reports.

• Monitor steering indicators.

• Education level Bac +3 to +5 (Bachelor's to Master's degree).

• Education or specialization in boilermaking.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.

• Experience in methods and writing manufacturing procedures for boilermaking equipment in the nuclear sector.

• Mastery of the manufacturing challenges for welded metallic equipment with reinforcements.

• Ability to analyze contractual specifications and assess technical feasibility.

• Skills in estimating manufacturing and welding times and costs.

• Ability to define and optimize manufacturing methods and routes.

• Ability to contribute to design work and propose technical and economic solutions.

• Proficiency in monitoring performance and steering indicators.
