Biomedical Engineer / Healthcare Planning (m/f/d) Bolzano (IT) - Permanent Direct Hire with Client

For an internationally active company in the field of healthcare and hospital construction, we are looking for a Biomedical Engineer (m/f/d) to support demanding projects from planning to implementation.

You will work on modern medical facilities, contribute your technical expertise to interdisciplinary project teams, and design solutions at the interface between medical technology, architecture, and clinical requirements.

After comprehensive training at the German location in Bavaria (accommodation provided), you will take up your long-term position in Bolzano and contribute to international healthcare and hospital projects there.

Tasks

• You will plan and conceptualize the medical technology equipment for hospitals and other healthcare facilities
• You will create and maintain room-related equipment plans for medical devices and systems
• Based on clinical processes and workflows, you will contribute to the functional planning and coordination of rooms and areas
• You will create and process planning documents using AutoCAD and Revit
• You will be responsible for the positioning and planning integration of medical devices and systems in floor plans
• You will coordinate medical technology requirements with architects, specialist planners, and other project stakeholders
• Together with the project teams, you will define the technical and infrastructural prerequisites for the use of medical devices
• You will participate in international hospital and medical technology projects
• You will coordinate technical issues and requirements with manufacturers and suppliers of medical technology systems

Qualifications

• You have a completed university degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Technical Medicine, or a comparable technical/scientific qualification
• You possess very good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
• You have a good technical understanding and knowledge of medical devices and systems, and can confidently translate technical requirements into planning solutions
• You work in a structured, precise, and independent manner and quickly familiarize yourself with complex technical and clinical contexts
• You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams; you communicate clearly and bindingly with doctors, nursing staff, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• You communicate confidently in German and English; further foreign language skills, especially Italian and French, are welcome
• You are willing to travel as required for international projects
