Your Tasks: Where You Are the Key to the Solution 🔑

Urban Planning and Urban Development

• Development and design of urban spaces, traffic areas, and open spaces

• Creation of planning law foundations

• Implementation of projects in monument, environmental, and climate protection

Building Supervision and Building Law

• Review of building applications based on the State Building Code and the Building Code

• Contact person for building consultations for property owners, investors, and architects

• Construction supervision and conducting site inspections of construction projects

Civil Engineering and Infrastructure

• Planning and supervision of civil engineering measures, urban drainage, and green spaces

• Expansion and maintenance of roads, green spaces, and drainage systems

• Monitoring and documentation of civil engineering projects

• Development, planning, and implementation of integrated blue-green infrastructure measures (climate change adaptation)

Building Construction

• Planning and management of maintenance, modernization, and renovation projects

• Implementation of municipal construction projects and funding programs

• Coordination and supervision of construction projects

Working Students (for up to 20 hours/week)

• Support in all areas mentioned above

• Involvement in projects, preparation of documents, support with construction supervision

This is what you need to bring:

• For engineer or technician positions:
  a completed (university of applied sciences) degree in the respective field (e.g., Architecture, Civil Engineering, Traffic Planning, Technical Building Equipment, Energy Technology, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Municipal Water Management, Hydraulic Engineering, Environment, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Landscape Construction) or a comparable qualification – with relevance to the activities of public administration, or

  • a degree as a state-certified technician – ideally with professional experience in one of the mentioned fields of expertise

  • if applicable, willingness for further training

  • advanced Bachelor's or started Master's degree in one of the above-mentioned fields

• For working student positions:

  • Enrollment in an engineering degree program

  • Proficient use of the MS Office suite – very good German language skills in spoken and written form – ideally initial practical experience
