Hydrogeologist Engineer M/F

Join the Hydrogeology Department of the Fondasol Group and put your expertise to work on innovative projects combining technology and sustainable development. To support our team, we are looking for an Hydrogeologist Engineer M/F to strengthen our engineering team.

Your daily tasks

As an Hydrogeologist Engineer, you will lead projects for the development and management of groundwater, from the initial study to the presentation of results for all types of projects (public spaces, industrial, commercial, residential buildings, underground structures, etc.). Your tasks will consist of:

• Developing quotes taking into account your client's needs

• Conducting/managing field campaigns for the acquisition of geological and hydrogeological characteristics of sites (pumping tests, infiltration tests, tracing, sample collection, etc.) in conjunction with Multi-Trade Technicians.

• Carrying out studies related to groundwater for various projects such as estimating characteristic groundwater levels, calculating pumping/dewatering flow rates during construction, monitoring dewatering work, dealing with stormwater management issues, geothermal studies (aquathermal and probe fields), etc.

• Designing technical solutions for water management, such as dewatering systems, infiltration or recharge wells, stormwater retention and/or infiltration basins, or drainage systems.

• Writing technical reports and presenting your conclusions to project teams (client/project manager/consultant) and authorities (DREAL, DDT(M)).

• Working in synergy with the Group's expertise (geotechnical, environmental, geophysical, etc.) to offer comprehensive solutions and identify new opportunities.

• Contributing to business development by proposing all our expertise and innovative solutions in hydrogeology, geothermal energy, and waste storage.

Let's talk about you

You are:

• You hold an Engineering degree or a Master's degree in Hydrogeology with a solid background in geology.

• You must have at least 5 years of experience in a consulting firm.

• You are proficient in hydrogeological field investigation methods (tests, sampling, etc.) and are familiar with modeling software (OUAIP, ATP, FEFLOW, PILESIM, QGIS, etc.).

• Your rigor, analytical skills, and organizational skills are major assets.

• You possess strong writing and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

• A valid driver's license (B) is essential for your travel to construction sites.
