The 3D-aero GmbH is a tech company from Hamburg with about 60 employees and has been a proud part of the MTU Aero Engines AG since December 2024 – one of the world's leading companies in the aerospace industry. We develop customer-specific automation solutions for aircraft production and other industrial sectors. In doing so, we use optical sensor technology and modern industrial robots together with KI-based data processing to develop tailored systems for our customers.

Our department in the area of 3D measurement and surface inspection is growing – thanks to exciting orders from well-known customers from the aerospace industry, special machine building, and other sectors. For this reason, we are looking for an engineer (gn) as of now who will strengthen our team and work together with us to realize innovative automation solutions. Tasks

• Project work from A to Z: You accompany our projects from planning to commissioning for national and international customers
• Dokumentation & Planung: You create and maintain project plans as well as technical documentation
• Tests & Inbetriebnahme: You organize and conduct internal tests and support the commissioning on site
• Technical coordination: You work closely with our specialist departments to clarify technical details and make our equipment ready for use
• Service & Optimization: You support in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and optimization of existing systems

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
• First professional experience in the field of industrial automation or mechanical engineering is desirable
• Familiarity with SPS control systems or industrial robotics is an advantage
• Solution-oriented, structured and self-reliant working style
• Readiness for regular business trips within Germany and abroad
• Very good German language skills as well as good English language skills
