Engineer for Technical Documentation/Product Assurance (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Technical support of products in the fields of mechanical engineering, precision engineering, and electrical metrology
• Development and maintenance of a uniform technical terminology
• Ensuring product quality
• Continuous improvement of existing products and processes
• Support and evaluation of special manufacturing processes with a physical background, e.g., high-temperature soldering, welding processes, material science and technology
• Support in the development of new products and the optimization of existing products
• Analysis and evaluation of operational success data and relevant key figures
• Translation of technical documentation, protocols, and instructions from German and English to French and vice versa (including incorporation of comments and changes)
• Checking existing translations for technical accuracy, completeness, and linguistic quality
• Coordination of technical content with specialist departments and clarification of issues
• Support in international projects and communication with French-speaking business partners

Qualifications:

• Completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, precision engineering, materials science, electrical engineering) or a comparable technical qualification
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and physical-technical interrelationships
• Strong technical understanding and interest in technical products and relationships
• Experience in translating technical texts is an advantage
• Confident use of technical terminology and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new subject areas
• Analytical and structured way of working
• High quality awareness, solution-oriented thinking
• Very good language skills in German, English, French
• Good communication and team skills
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with the internal document management system COEDM
