Simulation with Substance – Shape the Production Processes of Tomorrow.
At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on a key role in the further development of production processes as an Ingenieur für industrielle Simulation . With your analytical strength and IT affinity, you will model complex production systems and deliver data-based decision-making grounds for process optimization, material flows, and robotics. Tasks:

  • Development and Validation of Simulation Models for production processes, material flows, robotics, and assembly
  • Identification of bottlenecks and risks through Simulation Analyses as well as derivation of Optimization Recommendations
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Interpretation of simulation results and preparation of reports for stakeholders
  • Closely working with interdisciplinary teams, e.g. Production, Engineering, and IT
  • Technology Scouting and evaluation of new methods and tools in the field of industrial simulation
  • Development and implementation of Best Practices and Standards for simulation processes
  • Presentation of technical matters to decision-makers and management levels
  • Participation in the further development of efficient production processes at Airbus Helicopters

Requirements:

  • A completed degree in the field of Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable
  • Multiple years of professional experience in industrial simulation, ideally in the aerospace industry or a high-tech industry
  • Fundamental knowledge of simulation software such as Siemens Plant Simulation, Arena, FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Delmia Process Engineer
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, C++, or VBA is advantageous
  • Fluent German and English skills (at least C1); French skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to occasional business trips
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly necessary
