Operations and Systems Engineer Metro F/M

Our client Tisséo Ingénierie designs and implements the transport systems of tomorrow for the Toulouse agglomeration. As a private law SPL, the company acts as a delegated contracting authority, managing the studies and works for large-scale transport infrastructure projects for a territory comprising approximately 100 municipalities and over one million inhabitants. Thus, it supports the local authorities of the Toulouse agglomeration in their ambitious mobility project program, notably with the creation of a 3rd metro line (Line C: 27 km – €3.1 billion), the connection with Line B, and Multimodal Exchange Hubs (PEM).

In this context, the Systems Department is strengthening its team by recruiting an Operations & Systems Engineer

Reporting to the Systems Director and supporting the System-PCC Coordinator Project Manager, you will be entrusted with a key role in the commissioning of the automatic metro for Line C by ensuring the management of preparation for operation and the transfer of technical management to the operator.

Your objective? To contribute to the transformation of a set of technical subsystems into an integrated, operational, and efficient system and to transfer it to the operator under the best conditions.

To this end, in close coordination with the operator, internal project teams, technical assistance to the contracting authority (AMO), design consultants (MOE - Low Voltage, Infrastructure, Garage-Workshop), and industrial partners (transport system integrator, PCC), you will be required to:

Preparation for Operation

• Organize and manage the activities for preparing the metro system for operation

• Manage the AMO responsible for operational scenarios and system test procedures and validate deliverables

• Ensure consistency between the technical design of the systems and the operational requirements

• Organize the conditions for the transfer of technical management to the operator

• Coordinate training for operation and maintenance (identify needs, consolidate materials in conjunction with industrial partners and MOE, plan skill development phases)

System Testing

• Manage system validation tests with the support of the AMO

• Ensure good coverage of the operational scenarios used

• Contribute to technical arbitration during integration and commissioning phases

Coordination and Management

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders on operation, system testing, and training matters

• Lead transverse technical discussions and meetings

• Contribute to risk management related to system commissioning and operability

Additionally, you will assist the System and PCC Coordination Project Manager, particularly on matters related to operations (training scenarios, validation of the Operations Program...).

With an engineering degree (Systems, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent), you have at least 8 years of experience in transport systems, ideally in automatic metro systems.

You have developed solid experience in:

• System integration or engineering

• Testing and commissioning

• Preparation for operation or operation of automated transport systems
