Mission Context

As part of a temporary reinforcement of staff, we are looking for a Nuclear HVAC Design Engineer to carry out a design study mission. The mission focuses in particular on the design of technical HVAC solutions and additional systems for heat evacuation.

Missions

• Analyze and understand HVAC principle diagrams.

• Carry out the necessary hydraulic studies.

• Perform building thermal balance calculations.

• Study and dimension large-scale water/water heat pump thermodynamic systems.

• Perform and write calculation notes.

• Design technical HVAC solutions.

• Study, in particular, heat evacuation solutions via additional systems.

• Perform budget estimations and costing for the proposed technical solutions.

• Develop the provisional work schedule.

• Develop principle diagrams and layouts using AutoCAD.

• Write technical specifications and study reports.

• Present studies and deliverables during client meetings.

• Mastery of the analysis and understanding of HVAC principle diagrams.

• Solid skills in hydraulics.

• Proficiency in performing building thermal balance calculations.

• Knowledge of large-scale water/water heat pump thermodynamic systems.

• Proficiency in performing and writing calculation notes.

• Skills in designing technical HVAC solutions, particularly heat evacuation solutions via additional systems.

• Ability to perform budget estimations and costing of technical solutions.

• Ability to develop provisional work schedules.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing principle diagrams and layouts.

• Good writing skills for technical specifications and study reports.

• Ease of oral communication and good presentation skills during client meetings to present studies and deliverables.
