Mechanical Designer Engineer

Your mission
You pilot mechanical design and engineering governance to transform client needs into reliable, secure, and manufacturable equipment. Your mission: orchestrate the complete cycle – from engineering (P&ID, equipment selection, CAO) to atelier tests – to deliver high-performance solutions, reduce costs, and accelerate market launch, while maximizing environmental impact.
Main responsibilities
Engineering governance and project management
- SUPERVISE the engineering process
- ASSURE engineering project management.
Project engineering (design & equipment)
- TAKE CHARGE of project engineering from concept to production transfer.
- DESIGN mechanical assemblies and systems.
- SELECT equipment for pumping, vanning, and instrumentation.
- PREPARE detailed drawings of systems and assemblies (layout, tolerancing).
Product engineering and development
- SUPERVISE product engineering (DICE) and technical roadmap.
- DESIGN mechanical parts and contribute to new features and products.
- PREPARE AND REVIS manufacturing drawings; REVIEW parts in prototype and production phases.
Industrialization and production
- COLLABORATE closely with the production manager to manage quality and optimize processes.
Testing and validation
- DESIGN AND REALIZE test benches.
- ELABORATE test plans; PERFORM tests, DOCUMENT results, and WRITE synthesis reports.
- CLOSE TESTS WITH DESIGN FEEDBACK (short loops) and corrective action plan.
Desired profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical training with equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design or product engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing SME, ideally with technical products (processes, equipment, fluids).
- Familiarity with CAD and CAM software.
- Knowledge of fabrication standards and prototyping practices.
· You are familiar with CAD and CAM software.
· Master Office Suite.
· You are rigorous, exercise judgment, and have a sense of work organization.
· Bilingualism is an asset.
