Position based in Wasquehal.

Reporting to the Digital Workplace Manager, you will join an IT team of 7 people.
Your scope covers two complementary dimensions: the administration of cloud environments and the management of internal network infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of the systems that run the daily operations of all Exotec employees. You will be the primary point of contact for the IT departments, as well as for the Product teams regarding infrastructure needs.
This role is part of a structured IT organization, with real technical responsibilities from the moment you start.

The Challenge
Exotec operates in a constantly evolving multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP), serving over 1,300 employees worldwide. Mastering this infrastructure is crucial for business continuity and performance for the entire company.
Your challenge:

• Infrastructure Adoption: Gain a complete and in-depth understanding of our cloud and network environments to quickly become autonomous
• Environment Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and actively contribute to the rationalization and performance of the existing infrastructure
• Proactivity: Be proactive in evolving the infrastructure in the right direction, anticipating needs rather than reacting to constraints
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Build trusting relationships with internal teams to better anticipate and meet their needs

Main Missions

1. Optimization and Continuous Improvement
You will analyze existing environments, propose optimization strategies (cost, performance, resilience), and actively participate in their implementation in conjunction with the team.

2. Application Deployment Support
You will support development teams in deploying their applications on Kubernetes, ensuring the link between application needs and infrastructure constraints.

3. Cloud Environment Administration and Reliability
You will ensure the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure and AWS infrastructures. You will be responsible for their daily availability and performance.
4. Network Infrastructure
You will manage the installation and operational maintenance of the network infrastructure across all Exotec sites. You will be responsible for configuring and managing interconnection equipment (Huawei/Unifi routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points) and ensure the quality and continuity of connections for all employees.
5. Infrastructure Security
You will apply and evolve security best practices across the entire scope: configuration hardening, privileged access management, and vigilance on common risk vectors.
6. Incident Management & Service Continuity
You will manage and escalate infrastructure incidents, ensuring speed and quality of resolution. You will contribute to the definition and maintenance of continuity plans (DRP/BCP) to ensure IT service resilience.
7. Documentation and Knowledge Management
You will maintain up-to-date and high-quality technical documentation to ensure the clarity of the infrastructure and facilitate collaboration within the IT team.

Requirements

Experience

• +3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multi-cloud environment
• Hands-on experience with production Azure and/or AWS infrastructures

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Azure and AWS (administration, IAM, virtual networks, monitoring)
• Solid networking fundamentals: VLAN, Firewall, LAN/WAN, routing, VPN (IPSec/OpenVPN)
• Solid Linux fundamentals
• IaC / DevOps: Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, Gitlab
• Infrastructure security knowledge (hardening, access management, cloud best practices)

Soft Skills

• Autonomy and rigor in managing your scope
• Technical curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement
• Good communication skills, comfortable working in a multi-team environment
• Openness to artificial intelligence tools and a willingness to integrate them into your work practices
• Fluent English required (written & spoken) – international environment
