Engineer Automation and Control Technology Offshore (m/w/d)

The reliable operation of modern offshore network systems requires a highly available and securely controlled automation and control technology across various installation sites. In this position, you will be responsible for the technical management of central systems on offshore platforms and land stations and coordinate their safe and efficient operation under challenging offshore conditions.

Tasks

• Technical system responsibility for automation, control, communication, security, and remote control systems within an offshore network system
• Planning, steering, and prioritization of maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization measures considering operational and offshore-specific requirements
• Coordination of internal departments and external service providers and ensuring clear technical interfaces and responsibilities
• Responsibility for the technical and economic evaluation, tracking, and further development of measures to ensure plant availability and operational safety
• Support in troubleshooting, participation in on-call duty, and ensuring a sustainable technical documentation and data quality in relevant systems, e.g. SAP

Qualification

• Degree in automation, electrical or energy engineering or equivalent qualification
• Mult-year experience in the operation, engineering, or maintenance of automation and control systems for complex technical facilities
• Ideal knowledge of the offshore environment or critical infrastructure and excellent ability to prioritize technical topics under time pressure
• Structured and self-responsible working style and safe appearance when dealing with internal and external interfaces
• Very good German and English skills, willingness to travel, and offshore certifications and occupational medical fitness for offshore deployments required
