Automation Engineer

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an Automation Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, and document PLC software

• Program PLCs and integrate industrial robots or vision systems (Keyence, Cognex,…), depending on the projects.

• Participation in development at different phases, from design to detailed refinement

• Participation in topics such as product development, new launches, or product transfers

• Software validation and testing

• Compliance with safety and quality standards

• Taking on responsible functions and roles

• Structured and rigorous approach

• Professional communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Your qualifications

• Engineer in Electrical/Mechatronics or Automation (BSc/MSc)

• At least 3 years of professional experience

• Technical experience of the complete development environment (Beckhoff mandatory, Allen Bradley and/or Siemens are a plus)

• Knowledge of vision system programming (Cognex VisionPro, Halcon, Keyence, …)

• Comfortable with object-oriented programming (C#, C++, or equivalent).

• Very good knowledge of French and English, German is an asset

• Autonomy and flexibility

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, solution-oriented

• Creative, client-oriented, team spirit, and sharp mind
