Operating in an international environment and working on equipment specifically developed according to its clients' needs, the company offers the opportunity to join a specialized technical team and participate in complex industrial projects, from the design phase to system validation.

Automation Engineer

YOUR MISSIONS

Within the technical team in charge of automation systems, you will be involved in the following tasks:

• Design and develop machine automation systems.
• Participate in technical feasibility studies.
• Participate in drafting functional specifications and technical specifications.
• Develop and program industrial controllers.
• Define, prepare, and carry out functional tests.
• Perform debugging and optimization of programs.
• Validate program compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Ensure traceability and management of different program versions using tools such as Git and SVN.
• Guarantee the archiving of programs and documentation in accordance with quality procedures.
• Participate in drafting and updating technical documentation.
• Actively collaborate with the various departments involved in machine design and development.
• Participate in the team's Agile organization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the department's methods, tools, and processes.

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed in this role, you ideally have the following skills and experience:

• HES/EPF Master's degree or equivalent higher education, with a specialization in automation or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of special machines.
• Strong skills in industrial automation and controller programming.
• Good knowledge of control electronics and industrial computing.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary industrial environments.
• Knowledge in one or more complementary fields: electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical.
• Experience with testing, validation, and commissioning processes for automated systems.
• Experience in an industrial environment subject to high demands in terms of quality, documentation, and traceability is a real advantage.
