Within Sopra Steria Next, you will join the Data division and more specifically the Analytics & Visualization team.

This team supports business departments and IT departments in leveraging their data, with a clear objective: to design and industrialize analytical solutions enabling better decision-making, at the organizational level.

Our approach is based on three pillars:

• the implementation of scalable analytics solutions
• the business valorization of data (data insights, performance, steering)
• the development of modern, accessible, and usage-oriented data visualization

Work Environment

You will work on high-stakes Data projects, in direct liaison with business and IT teams:

• Modernization and migration of BI platforms
• Deployment of data visualization and self-service analytics solutions
• Construction of analytical data products
• Industrialization of analytics and AI uses

You will work in close collaboration with:

• Data Engineers, Data Architects
• Data Scientists (particularly via Dataiku)
• Business teams and operational departments

Main Technologies: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Dataiku

Your Missions

Design of Analytics Solutions

• Design analytical data models (data marts, semantic models)
• Structure datasets adapted to business uses and decision-making
• Adopt a data product approach (reusability, quality, governance)
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability

Data Visualization & Advanced BI

• Develop advanced analytical dashboards and applications
• Implement solutions on:
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
  • Qlik
• Apply the principles of data storytelling, UX, and data literacy
• Optimize report performance (volume, response time)

Advanced Analytics & AI

• Utilize Dataiku to industrialize analytical use cases
• Integrate augmented analytics logic (AI, automation, guided exploration)
• Facilitate the valorization of data science outputs in BI tools
• Participate in the convergence between BI, advanced analytics, and AI

Business Interaction & Adoption

• Facilitate workshops with business departments and understand analytical needs
• Translate needs into concrete analytical products
• Support tool adoption (self-service, data acculturation)
• Contribute to the data maturity of organizations

Contribution to Projects & Offer

• Participate in Analytics scoping phases
• Contribute to tool and architecture choices
• Participate in POCs or demonstrators
• Contribute to offers

Education & Experience

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in IT, data, or information systems
• 5 to 8 years of experience in BI / Analytics / Data
• Proven experience in data visualization and data valorization

Technical Skills

• Expertise in at least two tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
• Experience with Dataiku or comparable platform
• Analytical modeling (data marts, star schema, semantic layer)
• Advanced SQL
• Knowledge of modern Data architectures (DWH, Data Lake)
• Strong sensitivity to performance and UX Analytics issues

Functional Skills & Posture

• Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions
• Mastery of concepts:
  • Data storytelling
  • Self-service analytics

• Ability to bridge the gap between: raw data → insight → business decision
