Our mission is to provide excellent services in the development of engineering, design, and manufacturing projects. We are looking for a Senior Torque Tooling Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and validation of torque tooling within manufacturing environments, ensuring the correct integration of tightening systems and compliance with our clients' quality and production standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Torque Tool Management and Installation:
- Validate the inventory of torque tools on the plant floor and their correct assignment per workstation.
- Supervise the installation and startup of assigned tools.
- Ensure all tools meet the technical and operational requirements of the project.
- System Configuration and Integration:
- Configure torque tools within the plant's torque management systems.
- Provide support in integrating controllers and communications with manufacturing systems.
- Validate parameters and configurations to ensure the correct functioning of the tools.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to the installation and commissioning of tools and controllers.
- Coordinate technical activities with external suppliers.
- Follow up on open incidents until their resolution or transfer with a defined action plan.
- Standardization and Documentation:
- Verify the correct selection and standardization of torque sockets and bits.
- Develop and maintain the socket matrix used on production lines.
- Update technical documentation, configurations, procedures, and project progress reports.
Key Deliverables:
- All assigned torque tools successfully installed and commissioned.
- Torque configurations completed, verified, and validated.
- Socket matrix finalized and standardized.
- Open incidents resolved or transferred with a documented action plan.
- Complete package of updated technical documentation delivered.

Minimum Requirements We Seek:
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial automation, systems integration, or torque tooling.
- Experience in installation, configuration, commissioning, and validation of controlled torque systems.
- Knowledge of assembly, quality, traceability, and advanced manufacturing processes.
- Experience in integrating industrial tools with PLCs, MES, and industrial communication networks.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, electrical diagrams, and engineering specifications.
- Experience in coordinating suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Intermediate-advanced English proficiency.
Desired Requirements:
- Experience with Atlas Copco, Desoutter, Stanley, or Bosch Rexroth torque systems.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC-UA).
- Participation in production line launches and industrialization.
- Knowledge of automotive quality and traceability standards.
- Experience in technical leadership, root cause analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
