Junior Engineer in CAD and Electrical and Electronic Systems (2072)

ALTEN México is seeking a recent graduate with a maximum of 2 years of experience in CAD modeling and static analysis of electrical systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and modeling electrical systems using advanced CAD tools, as well as conducting static analyses to evaluate the structural integrity and performance of the system. The role combines mechanical modeling with fundamentals in electronics, where the candidate will collaborate on multidisciplinary engineering projects focused on the structural and functional efficiency of electrical systems. Responsibilities:

• Support in modeling and design of components using CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Prepare technical drawings following basic principles of GD&T (Dimensioning and Tolerancing Geometric).
• Participate in the release and updating of new or existing components, ensuring precision in technical documentation.
• Register and organize technical files within digital platforms for version control and traceability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, NVH) to optimize performance and viability of the system.
• Suggest improvements based on signal analysis (transfer, hysteresis, gain, saturation).

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• Previous experience in CAD modeling and analysis of electrical systems.
• Mastery of CAD modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and structural analysis tools (ANSYS, SAP2000, etc.).
• Familiarity with data management platforms like Windchill and SAP (previous experience or willingness to train will be valued)
• Knowledge of applicable standards and certifications for electrical systems would be a plus
• GD&T and technical drawing basics
• Teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English minimum and advanced English preferred

Software desired:

• Creo: for 3D modeling and design.
• Windchill: for technical data management and version control.
• Additional knowledge in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is valued.
