Industrial Engineer and Continuous Improvement

Job description

Job Objective:

Responsible for designing work systems (plant layout, personnel, and ergonomics), as well as time and movement administration in the value chain. As well as creating strategies that allow for waste elimination.

Main Specific Responsibilities:

  • Implement Lean concepts
  • Manufacturing
  • Time and Movement Administration
  • Ergonomics
  • Improvement Projects

Specific Tasks:

  • Determine, document, and maintain the time-by-station database.
  • Determine with the engineering team, document, and maintain work sequences in operations, dairy routes, supermarkets & point of use.
  • Optimization of systems (reduction of times, inventories, etc.)
  • Improvements related to financial indicators based on standardization and optimization.
  • Support during BPS audits, internal and external.
  • Support in the administration of the Idea Management system.
  • Support in the implementation of lean manufacturing strategies
  • Support different VS in the execution of improvement cycles.
  • Aid in introducing new production lines, including ramp-up.
  • Report on the state of mandatory BPS training.
  • Define the annual training strategy for BPS topics.
  • Maintain updated company layout and help conceptualize necessary changes (Applying LLD concepts)
  • Support in logistics based on FOL and Material Flow concepts
  • Provide support and consultancy to other departments.
