Senior Specialist in Hydraulic Modeling (Wastewater and Supply)

Job description

How will your day-to-day be?

Within the Engineering department of Veolia Group, specifically at the Technical Office of Aquatec Madrid, we are looking to incorporate a/Specialist in hydraulic modeling with experience in modeling wastewater and/or supply networks for large-scale operations, as well as management and participation in the preparation of master plans.

Your main functions will focus on:

Interpretation and processing of GIS databases for hydraulic networks
Hydraulic modeling using specific software
Determination of hydraulic network functioning under different scenarios
Definition of action plan and prioritization of actions
Writing technical support documents
Coordination with infrastructure operators and public administrations
Coordination and collaboration with the technical team and GIS department
Writing, managing, and tracking projects
Preparation of technical (memos, annexes, budgets, folders) and administrative documentation
Management of project costs, times, and resources
Strategic support for preparing bids
