**Civil Specialist Engineer** Back to jobs **Civil Specialist Engineer** **Job details** Posted 31 August 2026 Start date 07 September 2026 Salary Range EUR 35000 - 50000 per&nbspYear LocationMadrid Job type Contract Discipline Rail Infrastructure and Construction Reference169873 Job Function Engineer **Job description** **We are selecting a Civil Specialist Engineer for one of our clients located in the Las Tablas area (Madrid) SPAIN, a world leader in engineering and construction offering sustainable solutions.** **FUNCTIONS:** + Analyze and guarantee the correct application of all project specifications related to buried systems, gravity drainage, roads, and pavements, identifying discrepancies, technical risks, or optimization opportunities. + Lead the hydraulic calculation, layout, and dimensioning of gravity drainage systems (rainwater, oily water, and sanitary water) using StormCAD or other hydraulic calculation programs. + Supervise and validate the 3D modeling of buried systems, ensuring an interference-free (clash-free) design, compliance with minimum safety distances, and correct coordination with other disciplines. + Lead road, access, and pavement studies, defining light and heavy traffic areas, finishing types, and surface drainage solutions. + Technically coordinate the development of the project's buried systems, ensuring correct integration between disciplines and assuming, when necessary, the global coordination of buried systems. + Review and validate pre-dimensioning, design, and quantity take-offs for procurement processes or requests for quotation. + Review and approve buried systems deliverables (layout plans, isometrics, manhole lists, and construction details). + Identify and promote technical improvements or Value Engineering proposals to optimize costs, execution timelines, or constructability. **EDUCATION** + Degree in Civil, Industrial Engineering, or similar. A Master's in Civil Engineering will be valued. **LANGUAGES** + English level, B2 **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING** + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and the Microsoft Office suite (MS Office). + Solid technical knowledge in pavement, road, and surface drainage system design. + Advanced hydraulic analysis. **COMPETENCIES** + Organizational and planning skills + Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
